Super Tuesday Results

Super Tuesday Primary Results

Each of the democratic front-runners made remarkable gains and strong showings in many of the battleground states.  Notably, the delegate count between these front runners remains very close.  This means that the battle for the nomination will be carried over into primaries and caucuses scheduled for February 9, 10, 12, 19, and possibly March 3rd where states like Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas, and Vermont may very well be needed to tie up the Democratic nomination.

On the Republican side, Senator John McCain had a successful winner take all night.  However, the real story centered around gains made by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee who's campaign garnered significant, yet somewhat unexpected support.  In all, Senator McCain picked up nine states including delegate rich California while former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney picked up seven states.  Governor Huckabee picked up five.
